Ahh! Old Florida charm at its best! Located between Jupiter and Stuart along Florida’s Atlantic coast, Hobe Sound is home to some of nature’s most covenanted spots in the state. Travelers enjoy the pristine beaches, unspoiled parks and championship golf courses! Explore nearby Jonathan Dickinson State Park for camping and canoeing or visit Blowing Rocks Preserve to view the limestone-studded beach. At high tide, particularly in winter and after storms, water is forced through the holes in the rocks as high as 50 feet in the air. Snorkelers are fond of the preserve’s limestone formations, the largest on the nation’s east coast, found right in Hobe Sound. The newest attraction is on Bridge Road, the Hobe Lake Ski Club or take in a polo match at Hobe Sound Polo Club, now open! There are fun activities for all!
Hobe Sound Beach is my favorite! You will find my family and I relaxing most weekends enjoying the breathtaking aqua waters that our oceans provide! The wow factor is the drive under the banyan trees to the beach parking lot! Stunning views of the waterways as you travel over the bridge! There are lifeguard stands, restrooms, and picnic tables for convenience. Fishing is great and you can bring your dog on a leash!! Our Golden Doodle loves it! Downtown Hobe Sound has casual dining spots along the route to the beach, so beach attire is the way to go at most of the restaurants on Bridge Road. Check out the giant Tiki Hut Restaurant called Taylor’s Beach House for afternoon entertainment or visit Harry & The Natives, built in 1941 a south Florida landmark sure to please!
Hobe Sound Real Estate
I have sold many homes in Hobe Sound from high end estates to retirement villas and what sellers and buyers love about Hobe Sound is that it has a quiet reserve small town feel, just minutes to the Beach & Jupiter Island and less than an hour to the airport! Hobe Sound has been home to several celebrities such as Tiger Woods, Alan Jackson, Celine Dion, Burt Reynolds and Jack Nicklaus just to mention a few!
